Additional information on administrative procedures and instructor resources will be provided during the in-class portion of the instructor Qualification Course.

You are also required to complete the individual course modules for each program you wish to teach before attending the in-class portion of the Instructor Qualification Course with a DAN Instructor Trainer.

You can save and exit the module at any time and return to where you left off. At the end of each module is an assessment. You must pass this assessment with at least 80% of your answers correct.

 Requirements

1. Be a DAN member and a DAN Professional.

2. Be an active scuba diving leader (e.g., instructor, assistant instructor, dive con or divemaster) with your training agency.

Call D & K Scuba Adventure to enroll in the DAN Instructor Qualification Course and get your DAN Core Instructor Module eLearning link by email. You must complete the eLearning course before the practical application session, you’ll be better prepared for your practice teaching assignments. You will also understand how to organize each class and how to certify students.

There is no gear required for Instructor Qualification Course, however you will need either a paper copy or downloaded electronic copy of the DAN Instructor Manual found in the DAN Core Instructor eLearning module.
